Dr. Baker Wright, BCBA-D

Dr. Wright earned his Master’s with a specialization in Behavior Analysis at East Carolina University in 1998 and then went on to earn his doctorate from The Florida State University where he studied under Dr. Jon Bailey in 2005. This is also where he was introduced to Dr. Maxin Reiss and BMC in 2000, working with individuals with a variety of ages, disabilities and behavioral needs in homes schools, and other residential facilities. Baker continued to work in the Tallahassee area, and expanded BMC’s scope of services into South Georgia and South Alabama, including home services and school district consultation. Dr. Wright continues this clinical work for school districts in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, in addition to the leadership of the growing BMC team across the state of Florida and Georgia. With his co-authors, he researched, developed and wrote AutomaticRtI-Behavior Edition in 2013, which is a comprehensive system and guide for teachers and schools to navigate the RtI system for behavior.

Dr. Wright assumed the leadership of BMC in 2015, and maintains the core mission and values taught to him by Dr. Reiss and other leaders from the BMC team.

Dr. Wright recently served on the board of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA), and is currently on the FABA legislative committee.

While not a work or on the road, Baker enjoys being with his 2 children and wife and simply being outside fishing, running, hunting or simply sitting on the beach or backyard.
