Dr. Heather Griffin, BCBA

Dr. Heather Griffin earned her Master’s degree from The Florida State University Applied Behavior Analysis program in 2005 and her Doctorate of Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida in December 2014. Upon receiving her BCBA in 2005, she joined a large non-profit private school for children with disabilities in Phoenix, AZ. Upon returning to Florida and BMC in 2007, Heather assisted in the growth and strength of the BMC Jacksonville team where she currently serves as the Clinical Director or NE Florida services as well as the BMC team in Valdosta, Georgia. Heather oversees the delivery of high-quality ABA services and leads a diverse team of BCBAs, BCABAs, and RBTs. Heather also consults with several school districts across North Florida and South Georgia. Heather continues her dedication to quality behavior analysis through the development and growth of the “BMC Competency Course,” a system for training and leading the next generation of RBTs and Behavior Analysts through the technical skills and professionalism required to be a successful and ethical provider of behavior analysis services. She also has introduced both undergraduate and graduate level individuals into the field since 2012 by offering competency-based training and practicum experiences through the University of North Florida. Heather has served as President for the First Coast Association for Behavior Analysis and is an active advocate for the delivery of high-quality ABA services in Northeast FL and Southeast GA.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring the country with her husband and two young sons
